Forms and Waivers

All paddlers must have CORA membership for race insurance purposes. A limited number of CORA forms will be available. CORA membership costs $10 for one day or $25 for the calendar year. If paying the CORA fee by cheque, please make it payable to "Canadian Outrigger Racing Association". Individual paddlers can always pay online at: www.canadianoutrigger.com

 

Registration Fee:

 

$240 per team ($40 per paddler)if registered by July 15

$300 per team ($50 per paddler) late registration (July 16 to race day)

$120 per Junior team ($20 per paddler) if registered by July 15

$180 per Junior team ($30 per paddler) late registration (July 16 to race day)

  • All paddlers must be paid 2015 CORA members.
  • Cash or cheques only. Please make cheques payable to FVDBC or Fraser Valley Dragon Boat Club

 

Dinner and Awards: 

 

 

A meal and refreshments will be provided after each race, Bring your meal tickets to the Memorial Hall. Cora awards will be presented after the last meal, approx 6:00 (TBA)

Equipment:

Parking:

Teams are to supply their own boats and paddling equipment. All boats must have a minimum of six PFD’s and two bailing buckets. Spray decks are optional. A limited number of inter-club loaner boats may be available on request.

There is plenty of parking at this venue along the streets in Harrison and there is overflow parking on Miami River Road.

Pay Parking is now in effect on St. Alice Street, Esplanade Avenue, Maple Street, Chehalis Street, Spruce Street and Hot Springs Road north between Esplanade and Lillooet Avenues. Hours of 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. Parking Rates: $2.00 per Hour | $10.00 Daily Maximum

Small Boat (OC1/2/Surfski/SUP) Race - 
   
Location:

Harrison Lake, Harrison Hot Springs, BC

Paddlers must submit signed waivers and race fees at least 1 hour in advance of the race. Payment accepted by cash or cheque only. If paying by cheque, please make it payable to "FVDBC".

All paddlers must have CORA membership for race insurance purposes. A limited number of CORA forms will be available. CORA membership costs $10 for one day or $25 for the calendar year. Registration table will be open at 9:30am

Unloading & Rigging of boats:

You can unload your canoes at Rendall Park, next to the Harrison Boat

Launch at the end of Esplanade Avenue. Turn right on Lillooet Avenue and then turn left onto Chehlais Road.
