A busy weekend awaits the FVDBC. The female members of our club are hosting a booth at the Fraser Valley Women's Show this weekend (March 5th - 7th) at the Heritage Building in Chilliwack. The recruitment booth will showcase the fun and excitement of Dragon Boating in Harrison Hot Springs. The ladies will be hard at work recruiting for a new Ladies Only Team, Seniors Team and Mixed Team. The ladies will be on hand to answer all your questions or concerns. Brochures will be made available from the club as well as the individual teams. Expect to see a video slide show presentation, our dragon boat head and tail and the infamous dragon boat drum (the kids love it). Don't forget to enter to win our prize basket. 

So what are the men doing while the ladies work? Well, we will be working too. The annual cleaning bee is once again upon us. The guys will be getting together at Manfred's shop in Chilliwack to clean life jackets and repair paddles. Not to be outdone, the men will also being heading out to Harrison Hot Springs afterwards to start cleaning up the new clubhouse. I am sure a power tool or two will be brought along.
